Zeebrugge, Belgium

Zeebrugge is a busy commercial (and cruise) port with easy access to the attractive town of Brugge. Meg and I have been in Brugge a couple of times. Instead we went to the equally lovely town of Ghent. A one hour bus ride, three hours on site, and another hour back through lovely countryside. While in Ghent we did a couple canal boat rides, a bit of shopping, and some fries to accompany a local beer. Quite a pleasant day, not at all dampened by the occasional rain showers. As I write this, we are back. Out in the English Channel headed for LeHavre.
